I have been playing and creating music for the piano since the age of 5. Trained classically by my aunt I began embellishing upon the works of Chopin, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky until I decided it was time to write my own tune. Developing a love for composition I began pulling from different genres combining classical with pop, jazz and blues. Each song has a distinct "flavor", sometimes brooding and melancholy, sometimes lush and whimsical and always interesting. I have developed a particular knack for molding a rich full sound while maintaining a clear melodic line that seems to float above the fray.
I'd love for you to enjoy good Piano Music as much as I do and am prepared to bring it to you in any number of ways.

Based in Bremerton, Washington I am available to perform anywhere in the greater Kitsap, Pierce and King County areas. I am also willing to travel pretty much anywhere in the Northwest (Washington/ Oregon/ B.C.) depending on the event.

General Overview
Booking me for your event is really quite easy. My goal is to form a relationship with you that will allow me to understand exactly the type of feeling and mood you're interested in. I aim also, to provide a fun and engaging musical performance you can share with family, friends or clients.
In working with you I ask a few simple favors:
1. That I am provided with the opportunity to sell my CD's. This way people are able to enjoy my music after the event as well as share it with friends and loved ones.
2. That my travel expenses are covered if the event will take place outside the greater Kitsap and King County areas of Western Washington. This of course so I do not lose money performing a show.
3. And, that with few exceptions I only play my original music. Rarely do I take popular requests. Occasionally for a wedding I am able to perform a request such as "Canon in D" or the "Wedding March" but other than that, when you hire me, you are getting completely Original "Eric S. Boyer" Music.

Performance Fees
My fees may vary quite a bit depending on the type of performance as well as location. Generally speaking they range anywhere from $75 to $800. Remember that I always tailor my fee to you and your specific event needs and desires. Here are a few examples based on Event Type:
WEDDING: ($120-$800) + travel expenses
The exact amount will vary quite a bit based upon what you would like me to do. For background music I require $120 for the first hour and then $100 per hour for each hour afterwards. Involvement in the actual ceremony will be more based on the amount of planning involved as well as how long and involved the ceremony itself is to be. I always work out the final fee amount based on your specific wedding needs.
BACKGROUND MUSIC: ($75-$500) + travel expenses
For restaurants, hotels, cocktail parties, etc. Any time I am playing for people without them actually sitting and listening directly to me. $75 per hour up to 4 hours. I have been known to go as many as 5 hours, but rarely. And again, the prices can vary depending on the event, restaurant, or any previous arrangement I might work out with you personally.
HOUSE CONCERT: ($100-$800) + travel expenses
I generally charge a minimum of $100 to play at your house. Again if it is background music see above. But if it is a formal concert in which party-goers will sit and listen I will charge $100 per hour. I am also very flexible as well. For instance I can play background music for an hour, perform as a concert for an hour and then another hour of background music afterwards. Remember this is your experience and I want to custom tailor it to your specific desires.
FUNDRAISERS/ CHARITIES/ ART GALLERIES: ($100-$500)
Again, the actual fee will be based on the specific event and what it is exactly you'd like me to do. For any and all inquiries you are encouraged to contact either me (erics@ericsboyer.com) or my manager Gina at (ginellib@hotmail.com).
Important Note on TRAVEL EXPENSES: Remember that when I include travel expenses that it is for events outside Western Washington. Also, for your convenience be sure to look at my Calendar to see where I might be at any given point. I spend time in Southern California (Long Beach area), and if I happen to be there at the same time of your event then Travel Expenses would be a non-issue.

House Concerts and Piano Requirements
One of my favorite ways to bring my Piano Music directly to you and your friends is with a House Concert. It's really quite simple:
You are having a party or get-together in which you'd like to provide something a little different, a little unique. I will come to your home and provide up to 2 hours of solid entertainment including 2 more hours of background music if you so desire. It is a fun and engaging way to have a Live Show brought directly into your home. For fees and expenses see above under "Performance Fees".
PIANO REQUIREMENTS: I have a Yamaha 88-key Digital Piano with full, rich sounding speakers that provide an unmistakeable Grand Piano Sound. I am able to bring this instrument with me and provide you with my Piano Music without you even having a Piano at your home.
If, you happen to have a solid, working Piano at your home that you would like me to play, that would be fine. Remember that this is your event. Just know that I am able to provide the Piano while playing shows in the greater Kitsap, Pierce and King Counties.

Performance Overview
I am very adept at providing your event with the type of Piano Music you envision. With background music I am able to be as subdued or prevalent as you require.
With a formal Performance however, you will see my personal style emerge. I am very whimsical and I love to Improvise. All of my original songs are written to have a distinct beginning, middle and end, however in a Live Performance I really enjoy mixing it up, taking chances and gving you something that I hope you've never seen before.
Piano to me is UNADULTERATED CREATIVITY. And when I sit down to play, expect me to come up with something that may have not been heard on a set of keys before.
